Lawn Mowing: the full guide
A great lawn is really just consistent care done properly. Cutting at the right height, at the right frequency, with sharp blades, is what separates a striped, healthy lawn from a stressed, patchy one.
Cutting at the right height
We adjust cut height by season and grass type. Cutting too short (scalping) invites moss and weeds, weakens roots and leaves the lawn vulnerable to drought. We take a little off each visit rather than a lot occasionally — that's what produces those clean, even stripes.
Edging and finishing
Every mow includes crisp edging along borders, beds and paths, plus strimming of anything the mower can't reach. All grass clippings are cleared and taken away — nothing is left on the lawn or blown onto beds.
One-off or regular
We offer one-off mows (great for holiday cover, house sales or pre-event tidy-ups) and regular fortnightly or weekly mowing at discounted rates.
What's included as standard
- Precision mowing at the correct seasonal height
- Neat edging along borders and paths
